The NHEG Guide Magazine is a project that I undertook as the main editor and designer. It was commissioned by New Heights Education Group (NHEG), an esteemed
educational organization focused on providing valuable resources and support to students, parents, and educators.
The objective of the magazine was to serve as a comprehensive educational guide, offering insightful articles, practical tips, and relevant information in a visually appealing and engaging format
Understanding the Target Audience: I began by conducting thorough research to understand the target audience of the magazine, which primarily consisted of students, parents, and educators. This helped me tailor the design and content to meet their specific needs and preferences.
Collaborating closely with Pamela, we defined the magazine’s overall theme, structure, and content categories. This involved brainstorming sessions to determine the magazine’s tone, key topics, and article selection.
I worked closely with a team of writers that curate and refine the content for each issue. Rigorous editing and proofreading were undertaken to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency throughout the magazine. Using Adobe Indesign software, I created the magazine’s layout, focusing on readability and visual hierarchy. I strategically placed images, illustrations, and text to enhance the overall flow and engagement. Attention was given to typography, spacing, and alignment to ensure a polished and cohesive look.
The NHEG Guide Magazine has become a successful educational resource, garnering positive feedback and engagement from its target audience. The collaboration with NHEG allowed for a seamless translation of their expertise and knowledge into a visually appealing and informative publication. The user friendly layout and engaging design have contributed to higher readership and prolonged engagement with the content.
Overall, I’m proud to have contributed my design and editorial skills to this important project and to have played a role in bringing the organization’s message to a wider audience.
As part of the NHEG team, we won the GLOBE AWARDS – MEDIA HERO OF THE YEAR
